Since 2014, the German Donors' Association has awarded the "Innovative through Research" seal to companies that take part in a biennial full survey of business research and development in Germany.

The Donors' Association is one of the largest private science sponsors in Germany and is committed to young academics, excellent universities and cutting-edge research. In addition, the Donors' Association examines and evaluates the German research and innovation system.
