KOSTAL CR

KOSTAL is active in the Czech Republic through its subsidiary KOSTAL CR, spol. s r.o. (limited company) which was established on 21 October 1993. Production was started in the Hořovice plant (District of Beroun) and afterwards extended to the Čenkov plant (District of Příbram). In 1996, the company employed 300 workers and the number has grown up to more than 1,800.

In March 2002, the construction of a new production plant was started in Černín (Černín is a locality in Zdice, District of Beroun). After the final inspection in December 2002, testing operation began. The new plant was officially opened on 5 June 2003.

The plants of KOSTAL CR company are focused on the manufacture and assembly of electronic components for car accessories and for other industrial applications. Most of the production is exported to EU markets.
